What You Will Do
The Programmer Analyst SR is responsible for having a strong aptitude for understanding complex business problems and translating their technical knowledge into practical, implementable solutions that will drive high impact business value.
He/she works closely with other team members to maintain internal applications and develop new products and services.
  • Work with stakeholders, technology and agile project managers to define business requirements for every scrum / project and map out end-to-end solutions.
  • Design, develop, enhance, modify and maintain application code and software solutions based on specific business requirements.
  • Liaise with internal user groups as needed to effectively program applications based on business and systems requirements.
  • Ensures that functional specifications can be implemented technically while developing and innovating creative solutions.
  • Be an integral part of the Information System’s team focused on the effective development and support of internal facing applications.
  • Work collaboratively with peers and business partners to deliver high quality projects and innovative solutions that advance Fidelity’s position within the Mutual Fund Industry.
What We’re Looking For
  • Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Economics or Mathematics.
  • 2+ years of related experience
  • Knowledge and experience in developing applications for mutual fund/investment industry
  • Experience with full stack development practices including java, Angular and/or python
  • Good knowledge of SQL or other database platforms such as oracle or progress
  • Effective communication skills with ability to prepare project documentation & presentations
